| Generally we say that an exchange is fair if the houses are of a similar size, and accommodates the same amount of people. Car value should also be compared if to be included. In home exchanging a good swap is one where both parties are happy.

| You should always check your insurance coverage.. but in most cases, insurance companies prefer that your house is occupied rather than not. If required, you can purchase additional insurance for the duration of the exchange. |
